Intro

Verse 1

Your love is devoted,
like a ring of solid gold
Like a vow that is tested,
like a covenant of old
Your love is enduring,
through the winter rain
And beyond the horizon,
with mercy for today

Pre-Chorus

Faithful You have been,
and faithful you will be
You pledge yourself to me,
and it’s why I sing

Chorus (2X)

Your praise will
ever be on my lips
ever be on my lips
Your praise will
ever be on my lips
ever be on my lips

Verse 2

You Father the orphan,
Your kindness makes us whole
You shoulder our weakness,
and Your strength becomes our own
You’re making me like you,
clothing me in white
Bringing beauty from ashes,
for You will have Your bride

Bridge (2X)

You will be praised,
You will be praised
With angels and saints we sing
worthy are You Lord
You will be praised,
You will be praised
With angels and saints we sing
worthy are You Lord

Ever Be - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]

The song “Ever Be” by Bethel Music is a beautiful reminder of God’s love and faithfulness. The lyrics speak of God’s love being devoted, tested, and enduring, just like a covenant of old. His love is so strong that it carries us through the winter rain and beyond the horizon. We can trust in His faithfulness and pledge ourselves to Him.

The Bible speaks of God’s love and faithfulness in many places. Psalm 136:1-3 says, “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords: His love endures forever.” This verse reminds us that God’s love is everlasting and that we can always trust in Him.

The song also speaks of God’s kindness and mercy. He is a Father to the orphan and He shoulders our weaknesses. He is making us like Him and clothing us in white. This is a beautiful reminder of the transformation that takes place when we accept Jesus as our Savior. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” We are made new in Christ and He is making us like Him.

The bridge of the song reminds us to praise God for His goodness and faithfulness. Psalm 150:6 says, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!” We can join with the angels and saints in praising God for His goodness and faithfulness.

Let us remember to praise God for His love and faithfulness. His love is devoted, tested, and enduring. He is a Father to the orphan and He shoulders our weaknesses. He is making us like Him and clothing us in white. Let us join with the angels and saints in praising God for His goodness and faithfulness.
