Intro

Verse 1

You steady me
Slow and sweet,
we sway
Take the lead
and I will follow
Finally ready now
To close my eyes and
just believe
That You won’t lead me
where You don’t go

Pre-Chorus

When my faith gets tired
And my hope seems lost
You spin me round and round
And remind me of that song
The one You wrote for me

Chorus 1

And we dance
And we dance

Verse 2

And I’ve been told
To pick up my sword and
fight for love
Little did I know that
Love had won for me
Here in Your arms
You still my heart again
And I breath You in like I've
never breathed 'till now

Chorus 2

And we dance
And we dance

Bridge 1

And I will lock eyes with
the One who's ransomed me
The One who gave me
joy for mourning
Oh I will lock eyes with
the one who's chosen me
The One who set
my feet to dancing

Chorus 2

And we dance
And we dance

Bridge 2

Its nice to know
I’m not alone
Ive found my home
here in your arms

We Dance - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]

We can find joy and peace in the Lord, even when our faith is tired and our hope seems lost. In the song “We Dance” by Bethel Music, we are reminded of the joy and freedom that comes from trusting in the Lord.

The lyrics “You steady me, slow and sweet, we sway” remind us of the peace and comfort that comes from being in the presence of the Lord. We can trust in Him to lead us and guide us, even when we don’t know what lies ahead. As the Bible says in Psalm 23:2-3, “He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul.”

The lyrics “And I’ve been told to pick up my sword and fight for love” remind us of the power of love that comes from the Lord. We can trust in His love to give us strength and courage to fight for what is right. As the Bible says in 1 John 4:18, “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”

The lyrics “And I will lock eyes with the One who’s ransomed me, the One who gave me joy for mourning” remind us of the joy and hope that comes from trusting in the Lord. We can find joy and peace in Him, even in the midst of our sorrows. As the Bible says in Isaiah 61:3, “To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory.”

We can trust in Him to lead us and guide us, and to give us strength and courage to fight for what is right. We can find joy and hope in Him, even in the midst of our sorrows. Let us take a moment to close our eyes and just believe that He will never lead us where He doesn’t go. Let us dance in the joy and freedom that comes from trusting in the Lord.
