There's no place like His
presence
There's no time like the now
Everyone two or three of us
Coming in here and now

But He waits with open arms

He's still faithful to deliver
Mighty as Heaven to save
He's still good on His promises
And His love still never fails
He's not moved by perfection
Or how well we look the part
But He's wild about the hidden stuff
Like He's wild about the heart

We ain't seen nothing yet

For what He might do next
Are you ready

He's already bought our freedom
He's already paid our debt
He's already done the miracle
He's already conquered death
He's our light and salvation
He's our rock-solid hope
He's already done enough for us
He's already doing more

Chorus 4

He's already seen the ending
He's already seen us through
He's already breaking out of us
He's already on the move
He's already won our battles
He's already paved the way
He's already gone ahead of us
And He is ready when we are

Ready Or Not - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]

Ready or Not is a powerful song that reminds us of the importance of being ready for God's presence. The lyrics encourage us to come to God as we are, with all our hopes, dreams, doubts, scars, hurts, fears, and faith. We can come to Him with confidence, knowing that He welcomes us with open arms and is not moved by perfection or how well we look the part. He is wild about the hidden stuff, like He is wild about the heart.

The Bible tells us that God is faithful to deliver us and mighty as Heaven to save us. He is good on His promises and His love never fails. He has already bought our freedom, paid our debt, done the miracle, and conquered death. He is our light and salvation, our rock-solid hope. He has already seen the ending, seen us through, broken out of us, and is on the move. He has already won our battles and paved the way.

The Bible also tells us to be ready for God's presence. In Matthew 24:44, Jesus says, “Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” We must be ready for His coming, and this song reminds us of that. We must come to Him with all that we are, ready to receive His love and grace.

Ready or Not is a beautiful reminder that God is ready for us, no matter what. He is ready to accept us as we are, and He is ready to do more in our lives. We can come to Him with confidence, knowing that He is ready when we are.
