I Thank God

We all have times in our lives when we feel lost and alone, like we are wandering in the night with no place to hide. We try with all our might to fight our battles, but sometimes it feels like we are slowly drifting, a vagabond. But just when we think we have run out of road, we meet a man we don’t know. That man is Jesus, and He tells us that we are not alone. 

Jesus picks us up, turns us around, and places our feet on solid ground. We thank the Master, we thank the Savior, because He healed our hearts and changed our names. We are forever free, and we are not the same. We thank God for His grace and mercy. 

The Bible tells us in John 11:25-26, “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?’” Jesus is the resurrection and the life, and He has the power to raise us up from the grave. He has the power to heal our hearts and change our names. 

We are free from the burden and bitterness of our old lives. We are free from the chains of sin and death. We are free to live in the light of God’s love and grace. We are free to live in the joy of His salvation. 

Let us thank God for His love and mercy. Let us thank Him for His grace and forgiveness. Let us thank Him for His power to save us and set us free. Let us thank Him for His faithfulness and His never-ending love. 

Let us thank God for His goodness and His grace. Let us thank Him for His mercy and His love. Let us thank Him for His power to heal our hearts and change our names. Let us thank Him for His faithfulness and His never-ending love.
