Intro

Verse 1
I was a wretch,
I remember who I was
I was lost I was blind
I was running out of time
Sin separated the breach
Was far too wide
But from the far side of the chasm
You held me in your sight

Verse 2

So You made a way
Across the great divide
Left behind heaven's throne
To build it here inside
And there at the cross
You paid the debt I owed
Broke my chains freed my soul
And for the first time I had hope

Chorus

Thank you Jesus for
he blood applied
Thank you Jesus it has
washed me white
Thank you Jesus You have
saved my life
Brought me from the darkness
Into glorious light

Vamp

Verse 3

You took my place
Laid inside my tomb of sin
You were buried for three days
But then you walked right out again
Now death has no sting
And life has no end
For I have been transformed
By the blood of the Lamb

Bridge

There is nothing stronger
Then the wonder working power
Of the blood the blood
That calls us sons and daughters
We are ransomed by our father
Through the blood the blood

Outro

Glory to His name
Glory to His name
There to my heart was
The blood applied
Glory to His name

Thank You Jesus For The Blood - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]

We are all sinners, and without Jesus, we are lost and without hope. But Jesus saw us in our darkness and made a way for us to be saved. He paid the debt we owed and broke our chains, freeing our souls.

Thank You Jesus for the blood applied. The blood of Jesus is the most powerful force in the world. It is the blood that washes us white and saves our lives, bringing us from darkness into glorious light.

Ephesians 1:7 says, “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.” Jesus’ blood is the only thing that can redeem us and forgive our sins.

Hebrews 9:22 says, “Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.” Jesus’ blood is the only thing that can purify us and forgive our sins.

Jesus took our place and laid inside our tomb of sin. He was buried for three days, but then He walked right out again. Now death has no sting and life has no end, for we have been transformed by the blood of the Lamb.

Romans 5:8 says, “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Jesus’ death on the cross was the ultimate act of love. He died for us so that we could be saved.

Let us give glory to His name, for it is through His blood that we are saved. Let us thank Jesus for the blood applied, for it is the only thing that can redeem us and forgive our sins.
