This is my prayer
in the desert
When all that's within me
feels dry
This is my prayer in my
hunger and need
My God is the God who provides

This is my prayer
in the fire
In weakness or trial or
pain
There is a faith proved of more
worth than gold
So refine me Lord through the flame

I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me
shall remain
I will rejoice
I will declare
God is my victory and He is here

When triumph is still
on its way
I am a conqueror and

No weapon formed against me
shall remain
I will rejoice

God is my victory and He is here

I will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me
shall remain
I will rejoice

When favour and providence flow
I know I'm filled to be emptied

The seed I've received I will sow

Desert Song - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]

The song “Desert Song” by Hillsong Worship is a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness and love. In the desert, when we feel lost and alone, God is there to provide us with living water and lead us through the darkness. He will subdue our fears and revive our hearts with His mercy.

The Bible tells us in Isaiah 43:2, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” God is with us in the desert, in the darkness, and in the fire. He will never leave us or forsake us.

The lyrics of “Desert Song” remind us to wait on the Lord and offer Him an offering of praise. Psalm 27:14 says, “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” We can trust that God will answer our prayers and provide us with the strength and courage we need to get through the desert.

God is faithful and He will never leave us in the desert. He will provide us with living water and lead us through the darkness. Let us offer Him an offering of praise and wait on Him in the desert.
